Weed Control Spray

Affinity LawnScapes lawn service is licensed in MS and TN for weed control services.  Our TN Pest Control Charter is #1623 and our Mississippi Weed Control License is 2486.  There are many companies in the lawn business that are spraying without licenses and we urge you to verify when you take bids that the lawn services you are considering carry licenses.  Using a licensed company insures that your business is protected from potential lawsuits, because the licensing agencies monitor insurance coverages of licensees plus require bonds.

Both states make it easy to check to see if the lawn care companies you are considering are licensed.  Cut and paste this link to your browser  to verify that you are using a licensed provider:

Before treating your weeds, it is essential that you are able to identify the weeds. Weeds fit into two categories: Grassy Weeds and Broadleaf Weeds. Additionally, weeds (much like grasses) will have their own respective growing seasons and life cycles. Weeds usually grow as either a Perennial (usually germinate every year) or Annual (Usually reproduce only by seed) . Our professionals will first determine what type of weed(s) you have. After knowing the weeds you have or want to prevent, it is now time to figure out how to control them. Before we begin, we find out when the weed grows so we can prevent it! Sounds simple right? Well, keep these two things in mind when thinking about weeds:(1) Cool-season weeds tend to grow and flourish during the fall and winter months in our area when the grasses tend to go dormant. (2) Weeds fight to live just like your grass does. As far as the weeds are concerned, they don't know you don't want them in your lawn, so its best that we prevent them from growing in the first place. Remember, your neighbor's lawn next door didn't get perfect on its own -- it had plenty of help!
